Elizabeth Anya-Petriv I n 2013, the National Trust Victoria embarked on a long and ambitious project: to recreate a missing 10 metre square section of historical wallpaper for the front entrance of Rippon Lea.

The remaining hall wallpaper had the style and quality of Japanese manufacture but this could not be verified.

To test this speculation, the project began by confirming the paper’s origins...
