Judith Snodgrass T here is no better place to begin a study of Japanese metalwork, or indulge an already established appreciation, than the Kiyomizu Sannenzaka Museum in Kyoto.
The museum was established just over 20 years ago to house a collection of over 10,000 of the finest work of 19th century Japanese artisans, the personal collection of the director, Masayuki Murata. The Sannenzaka Museum, street view and INTERIOR OF the Museum.
