Tuesday 7 March 2023 Indian Contemporary: artisan handmade textiles Liz Williamson India has made exquisite textiles for centuries.
This presentation will look at contemporary textiles, handmade by skilled artisans using various textile techniques and discusses some of the issues facing artisans in terms of sustaining and safeguarding their traditions in the contemporary marketplace.
