Zoom lecture, Tuesday, 20 April 2021, 5-6pm Sodeisha Daniel McOwan Daniel will be exploring this Japanese avant garde ceramics movement in Kyoto, one of the first clear expressions of modernism in Japanese ceramics.

It was founded in 1948 by Yagi Kazuo with the support of Suzuki Osamu, Kumakura Junkichi and Yamada Hiker and disbanded in 1998.
