Plain of Jars in Laos and its UNESCO World Heritage listing Talk by Dr Lia Genovese Friday 27 March 2020, 6 ­ 8pm UNSW Art & Design (COFA) Oxford St, Paddington Lia Genovese will discuss its history and the archaeological work undertaken at the Plain of Jars site in Laos, as well as the process of inscribing it on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

She is an archaeologist with particular expertise on this site, undertakes extensive fieldwork in the region and is a part-time lecturer at Thammasat and Silpakorn Universities in Bangkok.
