J ason Yeap OAM (awarded for service to the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne), is an art collector and played an important role in the acquisition and presentation of works of art to major museums and art galleries in Australia.

He played a significant role as a trustee at the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne from 2005 to 2013 and then a trustee at the Australian National Gallery in Canberra from 2014 to 2018. MAP: When and how did your interest in art begin? JP: When I was very young in Malaysia I liked and did photography and still do a lot of photography.
