Best because it has rightly been described as the `treasure house of China’ and worst because of its dreadful pollution as China’s major centre for the coal and steel industries. Cizhou ware vase, Northern Song dynasty (960 � 1127), Juncheng Museum, Shanxi Province, China, high fired stoneware.
