When did you know you wished to be an artist? And why did you choose miniature painting? Although I was always engaged in artistic activity it never really crossed my mind that I would become an artist.
In Quetta, as a young child (aged 5 or 6), my mother would often send me to the local bakery to buy bread for the family.
I would also return with charcoal and on my way back home I would draw on the mud walls of my neighbours’ homes, on the ground and on flat surfaces of the mountains...
