Herrera and Paul Northam L a Trobe University and Ateneo de Manila University celebrated their Artist in Residence and Exhibition Exchange Partnership Program established in 2005 with a major exhibition of contemporary art of the Philippines titled Mutable Truths: Perspectives on Philippine Contemporary Art.

Held at the La Trobe Art Institute (LAI) in Bendigo from March to April 2017, the exhibition featured ten artists who have undertaken the annual residency in the Visual Arts Centre (VAC), La Trobe University between 2005 and 2014: Poklong Anading, Martha Atienza, Lyle Buencamino, Charles Buenconsejo, Buen Calubayan, Marina Cruz, Kawayan de Guia, Leeroy New, Mark Salvatus and Ronald Ventura.
