Japanese woodblock prints study day 20 May 2016 For this all-day event we joined the NGV’s Curator of Asian Art, Wayne Crothers, to view recently acquired woodblock prints by Yoshitoshi.

Wayne also used examples from the NGV’s collection to show us the development of this technique from c.1720 to the early 20th century.
