A new textile museum in Cambodia and old textiles from Burma 10 May 2016 Gill Green enthralled us with her experiences of selecting a range of traditional Khmer weaving artefacts she has donated to the newly established Mekong Ganga Cooperation Asian Traditional Textiles Museum in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Transporting these fragile items in hand luggage without raising suspicions at airports and border crossings resulted in some interesting moments.
However they now take pride of place at this Museum amongst traditional textiles of Cambodia, India, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam...
