It was with great shock I heard about Pam’s death.
I had just been intending to ask her advice about a presentation I was preparing for a seminar in Sydney– but it was not to be.
Instead, my presentation became something of a personal tribute: without Pam’s keen interest in my work, I would never have completed my PhD and embarked on a research career in Burmese art history.
