I am greatly excited to be welcomed into the folds of TAASA, an organisation that fosters such far-reaching knowledge, appreciation and enthusiasm for the art and culture of Asia.
My own interests are based around Indonesian material culture, an interest that evolved from the study of Indonesian language as a high-school student.
Having completed an undergraduate degree in Asian Studies from the University of New South Wales, I worked as a translator and interpreter with the United Nations Transitional Administration in East Timor and later as a Liaison Officer with the Indonesian Consulate General in Sydney...
