Robyn Butlin T he saga of the jade carriage, currently in the collection of the Bendigo Golden Dragon Museum, reads like a mystery to be unravelled.

According to the concierge at the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney, it was first exhibited there in November 1986 after an extensive renovation of the derelict building.
