Made to Order: Trade Ceramics from East to West 9 August 2014 This half day symposium held at COFA’s premises in Paddington, Sydney was held to honour Jackie Menzies, who has recently retired as Head Curator, Asian Art at AGNSW.

It featured three engaging and informative talks by Jackie, James MacKean (Brisbane collector and convenor of TAASA in Qld) and Danny McOwan (Director of Hamilton Art Gallery). Participants were able to discuss the topic with the speakers and were treated to a hands on viewing of a number of ceramic pieces generously brought in by James.
