We gathered afterwards for delicious dumplings and a wide variety of delicate teas, and my secret favourite, some cheesy biscuits made from a family recipe of the founder, Judith Neilson.

A lovely day enjoyed by all! His achievements there included resolving claims by Italy and Greece for the restitution of antiquities, bringing contemporary and non-Western art into the museum’s programs and creating its centre for photographs.
