Sandra Forbes TAASA’s anniversary celebration party kicked off in grand form at the Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation in Sydney last December.

Gene Sherman had most generously offered TAASA her gallery’s premises for the celebration, and what an ideal venue it was.

Entry required guests to don `snowshoes’ and progress towards the party itself through a white blizzard: a sensation provided by the Sherman Foundation’s surprising and beautiful installation Waterfall by Tokujin Yoshioka. After encountering the art in the gallery, guests joined the convivial throng in the courtyard (yes, the rain held off!)...
