Viewing of Opera costumes from Delibes’ Lakmé ­ 5 July 2011 TAASA members were given a rare insight into the design and production of costumes for a complete opera.

Imogen Corlette, Opera Australia’s national PR and Publicity Manager, had gone to immense trouble to ensure our visit was entertaining. A selection of brilliantly coloured and richly embroidered costumes was displayed for us on mannequins.
