Ann Proctor T he Patan Museum, located in the heart of Darbar Square in Patan in the Kathmandu Valley, is one of those rare places that delights on many levels.
The distinctive traditional brick and wooden architecture is impressive, the collection has been stunningly installed, the educational wall texts are excellent and the gardens and courtyards provide a haven from the dusty, noisy streets outside. Courtyard of the Patan Museum, Nepal.
