Eloise Baldwin F iber Face 3, an Indonesian international fibre art exhibition was held at Taman Budaya, Yogyakarta in February 2011.
This was the third biennial Fiber Face exhibition initiated by Babaran Segaragunung Culture House in Yogyakarta operated by renowned batik artists Nia Fliam and Agus Ismoyo.
Fiber Face was initially a response to the disjuncture between the rich traditional textile art practices and heritage of Indonesia, and the apparent decline of textile art in contemporary Indonesian art practice...
