With loans from Myanmar and private and public collections in America, this was the first major exhibition in the USA to focus solely on Burmese art.
Curated by wellknown researchers of Myanmar art history, Sylvia Fraser-Lu and Donald Stadtner, both co-edited this accompanying publication. This is more than a catalogue, offering ten short informative essays followed by 71 full page colour images of works with facing text, and the whole stands well outside of the exhibition context...
