After a light meal in a member’s home, we explore the extraordinary life of Showa era restauranteur and ceramicist Kitaoji Rosanjin through his writings about food and culture, and exploring his prodigious and varied pottery wares, which included Shino, Iga, Oribe, Karatsu and other styles, and handle a local collection of his works.
