This presentation by Russell Storer will look at how a regional art history was formulated in Singapore, and how it was positioned within global art histories through the Gallery’s program of changing exhibitions.
This presentation examines the interrelations between Taiwanese women´s bodies, dress, sociocultural position, and agency in the post-war era.
The curator of the China Gallery at the Chau Chak Wing Museum, Dr Shuxia Chen, will show us this exhibition which celebrates the dynamic spirit of paper and its place in Chinese history, thought and art.
