Join Leigh and Alexandra Copeland at their gallery Weft for an exploration of an Asian wunderkammer – a cabinet of curiosities. Leigh and Alexandra are long-time travellers, collectors and dealers in Asian art, and particularly the arts of Central Asia. Their travels, since 1971, have taken them from Afghanistan to China, and from Indonesia to India. We will see items in their own collection and hear the stories of objects ranging from textiles, bronzes, sculpture, paintings and terra cottas – a wunderkammer of cultures now changed beyond recognition or even lost.
